My no3 has been high for the last 3 days I have done a 40 percent water change n still remains high. Ph 7.5 No3 3.3 Ammonia 0 No2 50 Temp 80.0 I have a 50 gallon tank with plants n I have 10 neon tetras 3 dalmation Molly's n 3 black n yellow Molly's ( sorry dont remember there official names...

I just added 3 female Dalmatian Molly's and the seem to be eating the mold on the driftwood. Will this cause them any harm ?

I am going through the same thing right now. I did a thread on it someone told me to just leave it n it will go away on its own

Yep should of done tht they seem to be aggressive with each other . Will they calm down when I start adding more fish?

I have another question too. Are neon tetras usally aggressive with each other or r they just playin ? They seem to be chasing each other and not stay in a group. Could in be tht I added 5 then added another 5 a day later ?

Yep tht is it. I want to stay away from having to use peroxide for. Will wait a week or two see if it doesn't take care of it on its own. But if it does continue to grow it won't be harmful to the tank ?

Can someone tell me what this is growing on the driftwood.

I was always told to remove the ring if u want the plant to grow.

Yeh I should of done it from the beginning . Just added 5 more but I notice before I added the new five the first five where fighting with each other is this normal behavior for neons ?
