Hmm that's funny. I would wait and see what others have to say about it. My recommendation would be to add 2 more corys like you were planning and leave the rest as is. If it is a loach it's probably a Hillstream loach which get up to 4 inches and should be ok in your tank.
What type of plecos do you have? Bristlenose plecos would probably be fine but if they are common plecos i would suggest you get rid of them. I had a buddy who's pleco grew to a foot in 2 years. I would recommend removing both the plecos and maybe getting some more catfish and/or a snail. With...
Hello! Over the course of a day I noticed my Ryukins red patches fade away and now they are a dull redish white. He's eating fine and swimming around normally so he doesn't appear to be sick. He's in a 55 gallon tank along with a black moor and a lionhead goldfish, whose colors havent faded at...
Thanks for the reply! It has not affected his vision at all and luckily has stayed clear of his eyes. It has the exact same bubble shape that the rest of the wen on his face has but just seems to be white instead.
Hello! About a year ago I posted a thread about the strange white lines that were appearing under my lionhead goldfish's eyes. I was expecting them to Wen growth and be gone by now but it seems to have only gotten bigger. They are still white and look more swollen then before. I fear it's...
Hello! Today I picked up some java moss from my local fish store. Once I got home I realized I had nothing to attach it to. All I have in the tank is some sand a couple rocks and some other live plants growing. How could I get for it to grow in a nice carpet without attaching it to anything but...
I have julii corys in my tank and I know they love shrimp pellets and algae wafers. I'd suggest you try those. I find they also just skim around the bottom in their spare time eating flakes or cleaning live plants if you have any. Recently my catfish laid eggs, and I'm hoping they will hatch...
They don't need any kind of floating dock. I just see mine swim to the surface for a quick second for air, then dart back down to the surface. They're pretty funny. Once I saw on riding on my mystery snail shell. I know ghost shrimp can get sucked up by the filter, so I'd suggest you research it...
Haha, nice frogs! Mine also love bloodworms and brine shrimp. I have a special area behind some plants where I feed mine so hopefully other fish won't steal all of it. Thanks for the reply!
