Best LED for low tech tank?

I have read that the current has less par, but it may not. I know the dinner works well as my brother and I grow medium to high plants with liquid carbon and micro and mmacro ferts. The build of the current looks decent. Maybe someone that has had both can chime in.

Best LED for low tech tank?

One stingray would only work with super low light plants. With a planted plus you could have more options. I think the lace would need it

    Aqueon overflow

A good pump and a ball valve in the pvc on the way if the pump is too strong is about it. Then the level of the overflow with tiny adjustments comes later. Siphon is automatic with gravity. The benefit of a drilled tank

    Aqueon overflow

There is no siphon in this setup. Since it is drilled, gravity takes over. That is the true benefit of a drilled tank. A good pump and a ball valve if the pump is too, strong are the only issues in the very beginning. Oops double post

Lighting for 36 gallon planted Aquarium

I use a generic hospital cleaner that is liquid carbon and micro and macro dry ferts mixed in. 1 day apart for the micro and macro ferts. Chemical compound issues if done the same day, but it works well. I have a plant+ and a fugeray on a 40 breeder. Water changes are key with plants

    DIY Aquarium Stand

I would just build your own. Lots of designs. Just built one myself. Other furniture is for different purposes. 2 x 6s and triangles in the corners covered in thin panels.

    75 gallon filtration

Not trying to change your mind, but save some money and go with two API 50s. They work well and the only change is to use a generic floss instead of the carbon filters and a little sponge to the small side of the pump to reduce improper overflow.

Lighting for 36 gallon planted Aquarium

Good lighting for the 36 gallon would be a Finnex planted plus, possibly two or just an added stingray. For plants you also will need macro and micro ferts. to pervent algae growth and that is for heavily planted. for medium or lightly planted Just the planted +.

Current LED + vs Fluval Aqualife and Plant

Par doesn't work that way. The PAR at double might be closer to <25 at 24". adding a Finnex planted + would be much better and closer to the 50 at 24" you are looking for.

40 Gallon Breeder for Goldfish with 40 Gallon sump

Tank is 40 gallons Sump is 40 gallons No Trace Elements is a good point, but do goldfish need trace elements? I was just thinking since I have a RO/DI filter that I could use it, but better to use tap and adjust to remove chlorine.
