Wow I bet! Mine was from a petsmart in SK. He lasted just about 6 months with me. I'm guessing he came with fin rot and I'm just too inexperienced to identify it. Lol looks like we r neighbours!
Wow he's soo pretty! Unfortunately at the moment a bigger tank is out of the question for me but I will definitely take it into consideration for the future. Thank you for the advice! My betta (dexter) was really happy in my 2.5 gal until the fin rot took over :/
For now I'm thinking of...
Hey everyone,
I have a 1.5-2 gal (not sure) tank that I had my betta in. Unfortunately he recently died from fun rot that I was unable to spot and treat in time to save him. Is there anything I should do with the tank to prevent this from happening when I get a new betta? Any special way to...
Unfortunately, he passed away last night before I could get medication to save him :( I feel really bad that I didn't catch this sooner so I could treat it faster..

I am going to get meds for him tomo but I just noticed that he is swimming funny almost at a side ways angle and crashing into the rocks at the bottom. It's almost like he's trying to dig but I know he's not
Not exactly sure about tank size as I've had it for a long time but it's either 1.5 or 2gal with no filter. I do 100% water changes weekly. Here are some before and now pics

I haven't done anything yet but I'm thinking of putting him in the breeder box for a bit as soon as I can. The tank has plenty of fake plants and places to hide but it doesn't seem to make a difference. He seemed to calm down a bit after we added some new fish to the tank but he seems to be...
