What's the best way to keep ammonia leaves down in my quarantine tank? Have been doing regular water changes with no reduction have put in some microorganism today but don't think it will help much as I'm dosing with copper to cure the dreaded ich. Any advice please.

There are plenty of fish an Oscar will live with as long as the tank is big enough a large parrot ,silver dollers another Oscar or even a big angle I've got a angle in with mine and they get on great not a single scrap. Every fish is different

My Oscar does the same from time to time I think it's just getting rid of natural aggression feed him lots of live food big river shrimp even dare I say the odd goldfish.

Think I will do the same unfortunately I've lost my orange spotted goby and mt dwarf angle :-( the hippo tangs not looking good either. There not eating well either do you think trying some live food might help?

Have had an out break of ich so have quarantined fish so I can treat with copper. But how long should I leave the fish out of the DT to make sure there is no parasites in the DT water some say 2weeks others up to 8 and can I test the water to make sure the ich is gone?
