Completed the max doses with dino x did a large water change still had a few stringy bits remaining so I did another 2 day blackout and my filter sock took a lot of the rest out I think I'm back on top of it again it's takes a few days to appear... Any ideas to keep it away? Large water changes...
I have a 6 head torch on the sand bed atm and he's doing great but that's under those powerful Chinese LEDs placement looks ok to me

Yeah I understand just looking online I thought they may have been AFW or something anyway everything's fine and I probably left a few eggs on there anyway

I accidentally bought caulerpa for my fuge and realised it could do this. When it starts to go clear that's the time to get rid as it starts to turn sexual. I binned mine and started again with cheato as I was paranoid it would go everywhere. But your brown stuff looks like the start of my dino...
So basically they won't harm the coral unless they smother it? They look gross which is one of the reasons I got rid

Yeah sniper hank I think your right. I did another dip and all those brown dots are the eggs I scraped off it. Must be about 100 of them! Are they AFW? Would the flatworms eat any corals? I've read they like acropora which I don't have thankfully ?

Sorry those pics haven't come out very good I did a coral dip and got these off but now back in the tank I can see these are these eggs? They are brown and around the base of each torch?

How much have you got in your fuge? I experienced the same thing removed a load of cheato and now I have hair algae in the dt

I've just finished a 3day blackout with a sheet covering the DT I did read a thread that someone uses 3 day blackouts every month or so to kill off "unsightly" algae. Not every day is bright sunshine in the Caribbean ? still treating with dino x apparently it take a good 10 doses to start...
So followed treatment for 6 doses and a large water change but I still have dinos on the sand and it seems to be starting to grow on the rocks again. I am starting to loose the love! do I need to remove the sand bed? Where do you think my extra nutrients are coming from as I have cut down to...
So on the 4th treatment of dino x and looking about 70% dinos gone I am using 2x 200micron sock on the sump outlet pipe and swapping every few days. Water tests seem to have not changed at all. Corals are looking a lot more expanded and open and not strangled as much
