I use this (http://m.lowes.com/pd/PLASKOLITE-7-85-sq-ft-Louvered-Ceiling-Light-Panel-Common-24-in-x-48-in-Actual-47-75-in-x-23-75-in/3280904) to put on the bare bottom of my tank and stack the rocks on that then put the sand in so they can dig all they want and it won't create a rockslide. If...
I used cobblestone that I broke up don't mind my afra doing a photo bomb. I use argonite for substraight so they can dig and it keeps my ph stable and buffed at 8.3

But to add to that if you get 1 male hongi and 3 females I would go with 6 different peacocks that's what I would do in that tank if you mix mbunas ur going to be asking for trouble because there isn't enough space to claim. The only other mbuna you could add is like an acai because they are...
Those are some agressive guys that you picked and your tank doesn't have a lot of bottom area. I had some in a 40b but I had more surface area 18x36=648. If you are (24x24)/2=288 there is not really enough bottom area for those fish because they claim a little bit for them selves. You really...
I have a 75 gal african tank always lots of activity and very colorful. I have 5 different types of mbuna (only one male each with a few females) 3 different types of peacocks and a hap. I also have a calvus. So I have mixed the lakes well only the calvus but he looks soo different that my other...
