I had the same problem in my nano reef. Flatworms covered everything. One natural predator you may look into is the Blue Velvet Nudibranch

I would have to agree with the above post. My mandarine eats a combination of mysis and brine shrimp. I have found the key was to turn of my power heads and filters while I am feeding so that the Mandarine doesn't have to chase after any food...mine likes to "browse" around on the bottom...
