I have this black algae growing on my plants. I clean regularly. What is this? How can I rid of it. Also- what fish would help control this?

Small white bumps have appeared through your the tank, they are on the decor and also a snail has some on him. Any idea what they are? No bigger then a pin prick

Melting? I am not sure what that means, I dont believe so. I am pretty sure its a brown algae. It was on more things in the tank and Ive been working on getting rid of it. But since I cant just wipe off the hornwort, it seems to be the last thing that its lingering on.

Hello, I have brown algae that I can’t seem to get rid Of. I have snails in here, so a lot of the products I can’t use. It seems to cling mostly on the live plants, which are hard to wipe down without ruining them. How can I get it off of the live plants? Thank you!

Does anyone know where I can find a rubber eel/ caecilian worm? I grew up with these in our fish tank, and I loved them! My dad said he just got them at a local fish store, but I cannot find these at all anymore! Anyone have ideas of breeders or places to buy? Thank you!

I did not quarantine, had them about 2 months now.

I had him about 6 months or more. He had a varied diet of cucumber and pellets And bug bites. He also has drift wood in there. But I got some parrot fish and they’re pigs. I was worried he wasn’t getting any food and fed at night. But I think he still wasn’t getting food...

Just found this an hour ago ?, what could have happened? This is his stomach, he is all green. He is an albino pleco. Stomach also looks sunken in. Did he starve?

My bottom feeders are not getting any food left for them once my parrot fish eat it. I have tried different foods including sinking and the parrots are just pigs lol. Is there something I can set up that has a small hole for the bottom dwellers but the parrots can’t get through to eat the pellets?

Been trying to feed different things, but really haven’t seen him eat much but suck on the glass. I have seen him eat a cucumber and fish flakes that fall. He won’t eat the bug bites, seaweed or algae wafers I’ve tried... he is still very red, even getting more red. I’ve done 2 25% changes this...

I have an albino pleco that is slowly turning more red inside it seems. I have a 55 gallon with 3 tetra, 2 loaches and the pleco. There are 3 air bubblers and also a Fluval canister filter. Took reading last night and nitrite/nitrate were 0 and ammonia was .25. Is he okay? Can’t find much info...

The temp was within the same range and I did acclimate. It may have been the PH. I did not test the old tanks Ph before moving them. The other fish all seem to be doing good.

So I have upgraded from a ten gallon to a 55. First I added partial of the old filter media into the 55. After two days ammonia/nitrite/nitrate were all 0. Moved over the HOB filter to the 55 gallon to run along side the canister to help get the bacteria in. I then moved my other fish. I have 3...
