- My boyfriend bought a saltwater tank and I have decided to learn about it as well to share in his hobby. It is a 120 gallon deep tank, we use a canister fluval filter. We have had the tank since November 2012 and have had very few problems our main issue is keeping the nitrate levels in check. We get most of our corals and frags from locals through Facebook page as we have next to no sale places where we live.
