They seem to be ok now apart from 1, which looks a little weaker and smaller than the rest! Tested water levels tonight and it is about right ... Ammonia is 0.25ppm so will do water change tomorrow, but the tank isn't even 2 weeks old so won't be anywhere near enough media in filters

Done round about 25% water change today ... Which seemed to go well :) used a glass scrubber and a siphon ... Added quite a few more little artificial plants and a cave ... Really enjoyin it so far. Filters are still very clean at the moment which I pressume isn't the best? I need them to get...

Added 3 neons to my tank the other day (new set up) everything has been going well so far! I also have 2 platies in another tank I want to add at a later date ... Do you think I should get 3 more neons before adding the 25 platies ... P.s it's. 95l which I think is around about 25g tank.

Neons are going well so far ... Couldn't get them to feed at first but I cracked it in the end ... Crumble the flakes up and release just below the water line! ... Going to a good fish store Sunday to stock up on some more supplies and possibly a few more fish :)

Added these neons to my new 95l tank last night :) going to do a fish in cycle. Adding 2 platies next week which I currently have housed in a small cold water tank ... Hopefully they like there new home :) Comments and tips welcome ... Just starting out :D .... Will it take a while for...

What do you mean by media? Sorry I am really new to this! I was going to just float them in the top in a bag ... For half an hour or so ... Is that right?

Hey, you will probably see a couple of threads from me dotted all over ... I've been posting in all the wrong places haha! Went out at the week and bought an Askoll Pure XL 95L tank. Comes complete with heater, filters and all the rest of it. I've got gravel and a couple of artificial plants...

I went out at the weekend and bought a 95L set up ... Came complete with heater, filtration system etc etc ... I ended up getting platies for the smaller tank ... I am going to transfer them into the bigger tank next Sunday after its been running for a week! Put the platies in the smaller tank...

I think I have underestimated this big time! I bought a small tank from a local store, it's probably around about 25l ... There was no measurement on the tank cos it's just a cheap one. I've got no lighting at the moment ... I was under the impression the water would go murky and clear up after...
