    Corydora stebai fry, white bellies?

Not sure what the picture quality will be like but thought I'd have a go at uploading a video and picture to try and show the white bellies.

    Corydora stebai fry, white bellies?

Hey, so I have 8 little c.sterbai fry. They are just over 1 week old now. I have them in a little tub, suctioned to the side of my main tank, which has an air stone and some plant floating in it. I feed them on microworms, and I do two water changes/tub cleans a day. They are still wiggling...

    Help! Filter has stopped working!

Hey, apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. I just cleaned out my tank and the last thing I do is turn the filter back on. Only this time it didn't come back on. The pump seems to be completely dead. No power. I have a Juwel Bioflow filter, big one, with 2 sponges at the bottom, and...

    Found corydoras sterbai fry

I came home from work tonight to find little Tina missing from the hatchery. Inspecting the tank, we found her hiding under the bridge ornament where I'm sure she was hiding since hatching. The hatchery had a little plastic lid on it, with slats, so I can only assume she took a spectacular...

Thanks everybody for your replies, sadly we lost him last night and he's now gone to the big aquarium in the sky :(

    Found corydoras sterbai fry

How often did you feed your fry and what is best for healthy growth? I gave the hatchery a good scrub and added a little of the gravel from the main tank.

    Found corydoras sterbai fry

So baby Tina seems to be doing well. I've got some hikari first bites and have been siphoning out waste in the hatchery with a pippet. Hoping the current from my filter will be enough to get the main tank water flowing through the gaps in the hatchery. Also have elodea plant in there so she has...

    Found corydoras sterbai fry

The parents are called Bob and Linda so we felt it was appropriate to call the baby Tina. There is a lot of stuff floating around as I was cleaning out the tank.

    Found corydoras sterbai fry

So I my two corydoras sterbai have been spawning frequently ever since I inherited them (+ 180l juwel tank and other fishes) a few months ago, but I have never focused on raising the fry. Tonight while cleaning out the tank, I found a baby! No idea how old it is, but I want to take care of it...

    Silver/Bala shark mouth stuck open

It is very possible he swam into something in the tank and this has been the cause. He's really fast when he goes. Only been in our tank for about 3 months, but such a pretty fish who has been coming along great. Makes me very sad to think that this might be the end of him.

    Silver/Bala shark mouth stuck open

So tonight I noticed my silver shark , Bruce (as named by my daughter) was looking a bit weird. Upon closer inspection, it seems his mouth his stuck open, as if he was straining for food. I hoped it would fix itself, as it wasn't like this this afternoon when I popped a bloodworm cube into the...

    Algae Bloom problem?

Noticed a difference today, have been keeping the lights off, UV seems to be helping, and done another water change last night. Moved the stone ornament back a bit so it is closer to the centre of the tank, but I am still able to see it! I know it still looks awful but it is a lot better than...

    Algae Bloom problem?

Pleco is about 15 years old, was one of the first fish my dad got after setting up this tank. At my dads house the water was crystal clear, this has all came about after moving the tank to my house. Initially I thought it was just a bacteria bloom as the tank had to cycle after being almost...
