I didn't think he would, the bowl was just to get him away from the ACs as quickly as possible and this was all I had handy... I am thinking of getting a small maybe 2.5 or 5 gallon tank and setting it up, would be good to have as a quarantine anyways I guess.. If the lil guy is looking better...

I was very skeptical of what the LFS was telling me to begin with, and the fact that I witnessed my guppy getting sick just put me over the edge.. I will surely be avoiding the LFS for any advice from here out... Way I see it is that they are in business to sell fish, so why not tell people...

I usually do a water change, then fill 1 gallon containers with tap and condition them for the next change so it sits and gets about room temp. I will prepare 6 gallons for tomorrow and change like you said. I probably won't be able to get around to picking up the Prime until Tues or Wed...

Thanks beast! They are African Cichlids.. My pH is about 7.8 and I think the reasoning for the original guppies dying off was due to my pH being much higher than the store where I bought them.. Somehow the 1 guppy was able to make it through and now it works out since I know AC's like higher pH...
