Water changes I use the salt water from the lfs. I use ro/di to top off also from the same store. I've had them test it and it's always reads 0. And I use pellets most of the time. I barely use frozen food maybe a small amount once a week.

So I wanted to know for my 20 gallon reef setup. Would it be ok to have the mechanical sponge first. Then activated carbon sponges. Then chemi pure elite. Then in the big middle chamber live rock. Then it's my return pump. Note: the chemi pure isn't in yet. Image attached

I have been looking at this tank and wondered if you need to modify it in any way, for example if you need a sump or external plumbing? I just want to use the tank as it is. But want to make sure that I don't have to modify it in any way. Thanks

I have seen some white spots on some of my rocks and power head. I have one rock, the one with the kenya tree on it that has the most on it. I think this may be the source of them. What I want to know is what are these small white spots? They kind of have a circular pattern. Like one long...

I can't really tell but I don't like the look of them. I did a fresh water dip before I added them and a small worm came off. Not the same as these though.

So I bought some green mushrooms not so long ago and I have noticed these white leg kind of things coming from the rock they are on. I'm unsure of what they are and are hoping someone can help me out. I've attached several photos.

So I just looked up copepods and I think this is what they are.

They are that small I can't really make out what shape or form they are. They could possibly have a really small tail at the back maybe like a third size of their total body. But I mean these things are smaller than a grain of sand. I just don't want them to hurt anything.
