It is on both sides I don't think he had it when we bought him but can't be sure, I'm thinking some sort of parasite hopefully one he can live with or will go over the next few malts, like the idea of a drunken tattoo though! Sent from my iPhone using Aquarium Advice

I have added hermit crabs, turbo snails a conch and the fish, yellow tang, six line wrasse, regal damsels, bristletail filefish, fire fish and clown fish, as for hitchikers I have seen bristle worms, astrea stars copepods and amphipods, feather dusters bound to be other stuff that I've not seen...

Every few months or so I see this strange kind of balloon object that floats around and then gets destroyed by a power head, it looks like its clear jelly balloon with brown bits of detritus in it it's about 2cm in length, as far as I now it comes out of one of the rocks in the tank blows up...

Anyone help identify this hitchiker crab think it is responsible for killing my flame angel, cleaner shrimp and starfish? He is about the size of a table tennis ball grey green dimpled shell with hairy legs?

Would this be the culprit?

Hi having a problem with my tank, have lost my flame angel one day ago fed him on the night he was fine eating and swimming fine got up in the morning and he was dead on the sand bed half eaten! Which I presume may not have killed him as hermits in there may have started eating once he died now...

Trying to find out if this is a good or bad critter found it near the sand bed on a piece of rock but not seen it since it is about the size of a nassiurus and same features but slightly more elongated and a different colour?

I had something similar could be the same thing red slime algae took a month to clear it, I sucked it up with gravel cleaner comes back pretty quick though but will go eventually, caused by high nitrate levels
