    I do the same thing at night I turn 1 of my Koralias off, so the fishes can rest for 8 hours, then the next day it turns automatically. I have 2 Koralias 550 and the flow from my filter that is 350.

    Mine it was clear ich, I tried to put some medication (that don't kill my inverts), all my 6 fishes gone in a week, it was my last add the coral beauty. I am going to travel in 2 weeks I will think about and then when I will return I think I will restart everything from scratch.......will see.

    Carey, I just have the same problem as you with the ich, I will like to know if you left all your rocks and sand like that or did you empty your tank and restart again? Sorry to bother you but I am at the same point right now, thanks in advance.

    I just have ich from my coral beauty, I don't know if was the stress or what but it pollute all my other fishes in less than a week, the only one's that they still alive are the inverts......is sad but another thing to learn.

    Is a fish only, yes I know, but I am doing a test (Hiatt Filtration System) and for now all is fine. I have my skimmer beside, just in case. Last week I have added another 2 fishes (cardinal bengalli) without any issues.

    I have almost 40 lbs of live rock, the canister is only to catch the debris, I know and also I have my maintenance every month, I have a lot of discipline. No skimmer for now, no refugium, no algae problem......
