Any idea why my male clown has darkened up so much? The female I bought with him has remained the way she's been from the start. He looked that way when I got him as well. Are they the same kind of clownfish?

I got this tiny rock in the box when I picked up lr a week or so ago. Its pink with stalky kinda things that have star shaped polyp things coming out of them. its closed up when I took three picture so once it opens back up again I'll add a pic of that too. I have no idea what it is
He's only about two inches long. I'm happy to say he ate everything I threw at him today. From flake food to snails. SO relieved! I had to crack the snail open for him...kinda messy so hopefully he'll be able to do it once hr
I just picked up a horned puffer fish yesterday. When the guy atty the lfs fed them so I could see him eat, none of the other fish would let him get anything...so I knew it was iffy but wanted to give him a chance to have a good life. My question is what is the normal behavior puffers exhibit...
Yay!! So happy to hear that! I got them Anne they were very young. They are now starting to pair up and exhibit this behavior so I guess they're growing up! Thanks soo much for the help!!!!
So I've had two clowns and a bubble tip anemone in the same tank for about 3 months. never saw either host the anemone. Ths morning, the female clown repeatedly keeps going up to the anemone, looking it over and then gently biting on it...almost as if to just investigate. Is this typical...
