Ok I fixed the baffles letting silicone dry a few days. Next question when I drained sump to repair I put my live rock and a legal in a 20 gallon put a light on it and a power head.. Remaining water was place in a 5 gallon bucket. And in a nother 5 gallon bucket water with my live sand is it Ok...
Was wondering do i need a bubble trap after skimmer/before fuge reference picture baffle'#1,2,3 or can I just remove baffle #2 and #3. And cut and lower baffle #4. Leaving only a bubble trap after fuge/before return reference picture baffles 4,5,6. Thanks mike
Trying to get my sump working with out any luck... I'm using a lifereef overflow and a mag 9.5 return pump. As you can see from picture my intake has to much water and return side not enough about 3 inches to much in the intake and 3 inches to less in the return. no matter how I adjust the flow...
How did you start it did u fill he sump first? Prime the overflow box and plug in the return pump? How is your flow? Are you using a ball valve on return pump... Thanks mike
Ok my 75 gallon tank had been up and running for 3 months and I just finished my sump build out of a 40gal breeder I have everything in place skimmer return pump overflow box now what's the best procedure to start this thing up and get things flowing? First time using a sump.... Any help would...
