I just converted my 20 gallon to a planted and I'm stoked about it, but I'm assuming this is driftwood "shedding" if you will? And it's driving me nuts. Is there anything I can do to stop or slow it down?

My wife has name our Silver Dollars Bernie and Bertha and my daughter had named out male powder blue gourami Cinderella because Cinderella's dress is blue. That dude would despise my little girl if be knew what his name was !!

I from it out and spread it around in a tissue. I guess it was da poo but my first guess would have been the silver dollars before the young plecos.

I have a 3 inch royal and a 2 inch golden nugget. I though it could be from them but they seem small to put that out.

I can only help with my experience. I have a 125 and put 80 pounds of holey rock in my tank initially. When I originally put it in my ph was at 7.8. Within 2 days I was At 8.6. I took out 40 lbs and added some drift wood. It has stablized now at 7.8. I don't know that the driftwood really...

I can say I seeded my new tank with an old filter and 7 gallons of water from my other tank. It has been a month now, I have close to 40 total fish and I haven't seen a jump in anything. I did add them every couple of days, but I'm zeros across the board except nitrates and they are under 10. It...

Everything I read says to have 1 Cory per 5 gallons. LFS says not to count them towards your fish count and that they help more than have any negative effect on your load. And I do agree to an extent. I mean they still crap! But aqua advisor counts them against you? What are your guys thoughts?

Cleaned mine up pretty easily with a Vinegar and water solution!! Good Luck!

Thank You for the experience. Are there any other medium sized mid swimmers that I may be missing? Also, with what I currently have and let's say I do add a Gourami and a pair of rams at some point will Marbled hatchet's be ok up top in this tank or will a Gourami bother them?

So are people not putting carbon in the emperor 400's? I bought my own filters for the front but is there something else I can use instead of the carbon for the rear slot?

I soak all my decor in bleach water and then soak it twice in water, then let dry completely. Just make sure you can smell any bleach when done and dry. If so rinse again. I cleaned the inside of my CL tank with a white vinegar and water solution. A little bit of elbow grease and good to go ! GL
