I just built a canopy...well, am building a canopy. I usually draw all my woodworking projects up in Visio but this time I kinda winged it. I will see if I can draw up the plans this weekend and psot them, along with pictures of the canopy.

I did as suggested, and measured just about everything I could from both the tap and the tank. I have measurable nitrates from the tap, but they are in the <1.0 ppm range, but the reading from the tank was around 10ppm. My pH is around 8.8 as best I can tell, and my ammonia and nitrites were 0...

Thanks, ferret. The tank is 72-1/2" long and has a wide glass plate in the middle, but other than that it is one long section. I would like to get two 36" lights or three 22" lights but I don't want to blind the fish (or my wife)!
