I bought this yellow angel 3 days ago and he has been swimming around good and has started to be more interactive but it has some white stuff around its gill on the right side. Could these be gill flukes? It has not shown any other symptoms yet but I don't want it to get bad. If these are...
What is wrong with my coral beauty?
I have had this coral beauty about a month now and it is still eating like normal and have not noticed any ich looking spots. If you cannot tell it also has a split in the rear fin I am wondering if this could be a tank mate? I have not seen any scuffles with...
I had a two bulb T5 and the whole unit went out. My tank is 2 feet deep so this would work then? And I had one zoanthid colony that is probably not alive anymore since the lights have been out for a week.

So my Coralife T5 HO lights went out and I was wondering what LED lights out there would be good to replace the T5 and get same if not better quality?
I saw aqueon modular LED light at local pet store but I am not sure if this would be good enough. I only have 1 coral at this moment so I do...
It is not sand I have looked him over good and he is starting to become less active so I did a paraguard dip tonight. I did the dip because I did not want to add anything to the tank. I would post pictures but my phone is messed up and I can't take any at the moment.
My sixline has patchy looking scales and a cloudy eye that has come and gone away a couple of times. I have treated by adding seachem focus and garlic guard to his food for 5 days. He still has a good appetite and is active should I try using something else such as paraguard which I bought the...

I have a flame angel that I am currently treating for ich with hyposalinity. However he is also losing one of his pelvic fins. How can I treat this and why is it happening. I am currently feeding him mysis shrimp with garlic guard and sea chem focus. I started him on the seachem focus tonight.
The purple might be your coraline algae which is good not sure about the first picture. But that kinda looks like what my aiptasia started out as in my tank in your second picture
None are needed you can always use a raw cocktail shrimp or if you just want some fish in there damsels are a cheap fish often used for cycling tanks. However those guys can be tricky to her out of your tank when you want to remove them.
Yea I think when I upgrade I will do a fox face but i do not want to do a tang for the reason they are so sensitive and a lot of money. They are wonderful looking fish though
