Hello, my filter cartridge is falling apart and it needs to be changed. Its the only media in their, so it has pretty much all the BB. Do I just throw a new one in, or should I seed it with BB? How would I go about seeding it? Sent from my iPod touch using Aquarium Advice

I'm gonna clean the filter of my 30 gallon today in some tank water, then I'll do a partial water change this weekend. My tank has some algae eaters in it, a male and female swordtail aswell as a small rainbow shark that I am going to move to a larger, seperate tank. Gotta love that satisfying...

Will do, the cloudiness has subsided. I removed the carbon from my filter and it helped the flow a lot (the carbon in that cartridge was most likely useless at this point anyways). Sent from my iPod touch using Aquarium Advice
