This is going to be my first attempt at breeding flowerhorns I just wanted to know if there was any thing to look for when knowing when the fish will be ready to breed.

The picture makes them look white it’s more similar to a blue but there’s a green Texas and red Texas

Can someone help me identify the sex of my red Texas and let me know wether or not they are able to mate with green Texas

Hi king fisher thanks for responding I have jack dempsey convict and catfish the ammonia is low I suspect it may be fun rot there is a white sort of thing on the edge of its fins but I don’t know and wanted to get other opinions
