yeah they look to be male and female, maybe it is mating. Most likely will be unsuccessful tho; too much activity in that tank.

I have two blue gouramis. For some reason right now as I type, they are both very dark, and are pretty much TAKING TURNS nipping on each other; one nips exceptionally hard, and then they spin around each other and the other returns the favor. It doesn't seem like fighting. What is this? Thanx

Yeah I've been meaning to get an extension tube. I don't know what bran the tank is, it was a gift to me with no wrapping or box. It would probably be a 29gal if I bought it, but I think they got it from Wal-Mart. I've changed the tank a bit since, added 2 Black Skirt Tetras, black background...

I've had two blue Gourami's and one harrassed the other CONSTANTLY as soon as they were put into the tank! The one who was constantly harrassed went from silverish-blue to midnight blue and died the next morning. The other died later on. Almost 5 dollars down the drain. :oops:

I've had an eye-less Pleco for almost or a little more than a year now and he hasn't grown any past 5-6 inches. I know their potential size... and honestly I'm glad he didn't reach it and it looks like he wont... because my tank only holds 16 gallons. I was supposed to get a 55-gallon MONTHS...

Ok, as some of you know, my tank came down with ich, and at least 4 fish were affected. Last Friday I bought Super Ick Cure by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals while I was away to find that all I fish have naturally came over it themselves (I was gone so I couldn't monitor them), except my dead...

Ok I moved everything around, and even made a cave (rocks). The rock he used to hide in (his fav. spot) is now in the rear-right corner of the tank...and he now hides in the cave (basically in the same spot as the old rock). He sorta inspected it and everything around it as if he was trying to...

^^^I forgot all about the ammonia issue in unestablished tanks. I feel so stupid now.... :cry: :( ....if you need me, I'll be in the dark cave my with my pleco watching As The Aquarium Cycles.
