Believe it a red melon not sure anymore as its been a long time since I bought it. I have gravel that has flourish tabs and a co2 tank everything else is fine but my swords. Should I add the tabs more often like two times a month or do I have to much light I have 4 bulbs of coralife HO 4x24 I...
2 tank specs are 20 gal, 305 fluval canister, coralife dual HO T-5, semi-planted
for now until i get pressurized co2, red sand substrate(a pain to plant plants in it)550 korilia current
question 1 how many of these buggers will fit in here with out fighting male to female ratio
question 2...
Movement on the water surface or agitation through the return side of the fluval will create a greater gas exchange. You will loose co2 gasses if you have a setup though
K just set up a co2 paintball on a 37 gal. I used a watts valve with Teflon tape but I can't seem to keep pressure on. The co2 comes out around 2-3 bps. If I used any less pressure the water pushes it back up the tube and no bubbles. The co2 is only lasting a week if that. My question is if...
check dr foster and smith i personally like the coralife dual light fixture. around $80 its a good deal i believe its super bright and looks real sleek and nice. the only draw back is you will need to buy either 1 or 2 bulbs mine came with 100k and the blue one. i only bought one more the...
you can use you bulb IMO for very low light/growing plants. you can replace it to better suit your plants but your tank will be dim and dark looking. if you like these plants are thats how far you want to go then you dont need co2. Since you want a planted tank i would suggest getting a...
from what i have read i didn't think light affected them. i always thought light doesn't do anything to there eyes. maybe they are just scared when the light comes on. do you do a dusk/dawn effect? if not you should try to easy them into the light. Turn the leds, then 12k, then the 2 65k.
i believe that the reason is that carbon removes organics that could be used by plants. IMO i would keep the carbon they do alot more good. The minerals that the plants use are not going to be affected by the carbon. your set up is fine i have the same thing except less carbon, with more purigen...
i dont think it matters if they are male or female its the attitude they have towards everything in your tank. i say get a cray fish only tank, when it starts to grow anything that fits in its claw is dinner. they start growing pretty big as i said mine molted pretty fast after getting it
I would avoid putting really any nice fish may want. They will nip at them any chance they get, especially when they are sleeping and start to sink. You will need fake plants unless you want them ripped out and cut pretty much on a daily basis. I had one about 2 years ago he was fun to watch...
Yes it could not sure how many days it would take but they do need light to preform photo-something can't spell it. How about you clean the tank remove as much as possible. Then do a water. Hangs
Going to start a co2 for my 20 gal, first one ever. This might be a dumb question, but I've read I have to replace the o-rings on both the tank and the needle valve if I'm correct. MY QUESTION is where do I get these o-rings from or does the store do it for me
