Hi my 55 gal tank is not a few months old and I'm going to add a group of 3 juvenile yoyo loaches will they eat my shrimp at this size or not till there older
It could be a bacterial bloom which will go away in its own time the bacteria you had left probably went into overdrive to cope with the waste from your fish
Light is on to long for a start need to shut the time down to 5hrs a day 6 at the most this is probably the sole cause the only other thing to say is you may want to do 50% water changes per week that's what I do on my 30 gal :) hope this helps
