Possible I guess. But she did dig herself a nice cave under a rock in her space. I know she was refusing to eat for a few days. And it seemed that she let the biggest male (and the only one that's solid yellow) hanf out a little closer than the rest. She's very particular about her 6" territory...

Will do. Honestly I didn't see a whole lot of swelling around her mouh but she's making this chewing motion. Like she's juggling something around in her mouth.

Thank you! I have read that swallowing the first batch is common. It may have already happened because my girlfriend fed them this morning and she said the female in question ate a little bit. But I'm not so sure. She's still has this 'chewing' movement all the time, like she's juggling...

My kenyi is FINALLY holding eggs. She moved a ton of sand around, this morning i woke up and there were mounds of sand moved to where she normally hangs out. She didn't eat this morning and her cheeks look swollen. Ill add pictures as soon as i can. I have a 29g that im using to grow out 3...

I'm no expert but it may have been from "lip locking" you can look it upo on google or youtube to see it in action. From what I have read its a way to establish dominance or a mate.
