- I have a 55 gallon freshwater tank. In it, I have a parrot fish, a jack Dempsey, and two African cichlids. I also have two plecosomous'. This is my first experience with an aquarium but I guess I am doing good as I have had my fish for about 2 years. They were all introduced to the tank around the same time and have grown a lot sence then.
