mr_x. I have noticed you have changed from T5. Are you using led now? I'm slowly improving my light. I have 2x aquabeam white, I plan to buy 2x white samsung for marine 10000w 15w/m, and keep 2x blue T5. Do you think it will be enough for 250l?
Not everybody is using resin filtration after ro, does it make any difference? How useful it is in marine aquarium. I'm building ro. But I have planed 5micron,activated carbon , carbon blocks and ro,will that be enough.
I was using 2xT5 in 250. It was ok, but I have ordered 2x led aquaray white and adet to whole system, I think I have improvement from few soft corals- colours etc.
I'm tired of going to my pet shop for RO water so I have decided to set up my own filter. Part of it I will use for home purpose ( sediment 5 micron and activated carbon and carbon block) and some only for aquarium ( ro). I'm still thinking on adding DI after RO? Any advise on that.
I m using external filter 1400l/h flow with uv filtration strictly for biological filtration and additional external filter in hood for chemical& fizycal. No sump. It's 230l tank set up 6 months ago. So far it's ok. Parameters ok, fish and few simple polips are happy. Good luck with your set up.
Thanks for all you comments, I have porcelain and emerald in the same tank, it's defiantly not one of them. It's black with characteristic red eyesand grows fast. My concern was when my boule anemone was ripped into peaces. I have noticed it in the morning than I wasn't sure if there was other...
