i used to have pennywort and frogbit in my tank, grew crazy to the point where i was throwing out net fulls to allow light for the other plants. They grow pretty quick IMO, and i think they look nice too

thats a bit disappointing, i was really considering picking one of those LED light fixtures up. i must of spent 100 bucks on my PCs just for the bulbs recently and another one just blew out. :banghead:

Hey man, Ive gotten ghost shrimp as well before...they definately live up to their name... they hide most of the time.... I definately second getting red cherry shrimp... I started out with about 25 of them and in months my colony grew to 50-60 strong... you can find them on aquabid.com...

which chems are for Fw planted tanks?

i feed my fish once a day...or even twice a day with small portions....i think for a 10g tank once a day should be fine....a water change once a week would be nice :)

agreed with the others...you still need better lights if your doing corals....protein skimmer....and better powerheads...those are really expensive...and plus if your really getting into SW you should get a drilled tank with an overflow and sump......
