i like the fluvals... it is 50L (23''X 11.5'') i read that because it draws the water thorough the gravel, that the amout of bacteria filtering makes it better than any submersible filter...

i meant take them back to the shop and buy new ones when it was done to let the filter run for a bit...

i have an 'elite stingray 15' at the moment, but it scares some smaller fish and they get swept away in the currant. i was looking for a cheap option (i can get a ugf kit for £8)

Hello! Just a quick question... i have a tank that i would like to put an undergravel filter system in. It has been up for about 2 months. D i need to get rid of fish and start again or can i put the system in and run it alongside the existing filter for a bit? thanks in advance! oneway.

i dont think i have... i either have a 15 watt, 20 watt or 30 watt (not at home right now, cant check!)

thanks for replying. in my tank, i have: 2 dwaf gouramis, 1 RTBS 2 corydoras ( 1 bronze, 1 spotted) i did have: 1 guppy 1 silver shark :thanks:

Hi. I have got a new fish tank (first time, running 3 weeks now!:D) and the nitrite is WAY too high (last time i checked it was at 2ppm). i went to my LFS and was told to do a 30% PWC every 3-4 days. i have been doing so, and even started doing it daily to help this. i went back to the shop and...

i will try. Would the fish shop not know they are aggressive with each other? (they were sold as a pair- and were in the same tank in the shop)

i'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i am at my wits end. the first 2 fish i got were a pair of dwarf gouramis. the male is constantly attacking the femail. she looks ill and her fins are ripped up (or something- there are gaps in her 'tail'). How do i solve this? at the moment, the male...

About 65 litres, but about 50 litres with equipment and decor. I will check eco23, and send a PM. Thanks for help everyone!
