I have that light fixture. I even have some SPS corals toward the top of the tank, they are doing fine.

I only put my hands in the tank when something falls over. I haven't had any problems so far (only 8 months in this hobby)

2 X 55G tanks and stands all at Walmart. I don't remember how much, but is was reasonable.

Costco sells a large package ( one pound or more ) of yeast for $2.65. I use it for my 55g planted tank.

Scrub the rock before you put it into your tank :mrgreen:

Scrub rocks with tooth brush. Vacum rocks and sand. Remove sand while vacuming if sand is affected. Clean sand and replace. :mrgreen:
