Thanks a lot! I know down here in aus there is a big market for sevs and my LFS Has already said he wants them when they are ready! Haha thanks heaps I'll buy a new tank tomorrow :)

Yep this is breeding behavior! My sevs are doing the exact same at the moment.. Along with other breeding signs like clearing a spot in the tank to lay eggs. They can do it for ages and not stop!! Hopefully you'll get some eggs soon! Here's a pic of mine going at the same thing!

Hey there, normally if a fish is gulping at the top of the tank it means low oxygen levels in the water... But gouramis can either use their gills to breathe water, or they can also breathe air by gulping air above the surface of the water. So don't worry it's completely normal, mine do it all...

A pair of Severums need a minimum of 55 gal, so having them and a fire mouth is definitely doable. The feather fin catfish would also be fine, but I'm not sure about the silver dollars, just because the Severums and fire mouth do get pretty big (up to 10 inches) and if they don't feel like they...

And one is a gold severum (male) and the other is a green ( female) I highly recommend you get one, they are very social fish, I hand feed mine And they swim right up to the glass when they see someone coming!! Excellent fish!

I have 2 Severums in my 95 gal community tank they are so peaceful and don't bother anyone else in my tank ( angels, pleco and a catfish) I am getting a black ghost knife fish in the next week!
