Hi can anyone identify this creature it looks like a snail but has a flat shell that is small compared to it's body so looks more like a slug. Is it reef safe ? It is under my clam in the pic so removed it for the mean time until I know it's safe any help is much appreciated

That's good to know especially since u have the same tank I will defiantly change it. Do you have heat issues with your tank my lighting really warms it up quick so had to turn heater up so temp says around 80 other wise I get a big swing. If so how u got round it appreciate the info

thanks for the advice i will defiantly try that the diatoms aint that bad just discolours the sand substrate and then my sand sifting star cleans it up over night. will try it thanks again

Thanks will it be ok in a nano reef 28g read if they die or get stressed they can poison the water?

I've looked on the web and some nodibranch are reef safe some eat soft corals so don't think I will take the chance. It is only 10mm long so if I put it back in my never find it again until it is to late thanks for the help much appreciated

Hi has anyone got an idea to what this is just found in in my tank must have come in on live rock. Ive taken it out the tank and got it in a dish. It looks and moves like a slug? cheers for any help pics are not great will try and get some better ones
