Freshwater Tank- Need Help Identifying Worm-like Creature

I think I actually figured it out after a little more research. It appears to be a snail leech. A disturbing creature and I will need to make sure it doesn't have more spawn. It must have hitch-hiked on my plants, even though I washed them off.

Freshwater Tank- Need Help Identifying Worm-like Creature

A while ago I noticed a worm-like creature in my freshwater tank. I found it eerie looking, but it was on the side of my tank that was inaccessible for my aquatic creatures, so I figured it would not be an issue. Unfortunately, this creature or one of its ilk found its way to the other side of...

Red Claw Crab and Bumblebee Goby Incompatibility?

I saw while doing some research that most articles about red claw crabs mention that you can have gobies as tank-mates (at least ones that can adapt to brackish water), but that bumblebee gobies are specifically not compatible. There was never a reason given and I was wondering if it was...

Red Claw Crab: Molting or dying?

Followed your advice to do a water change and unfortunately no change yet in her behavior. I have never seen her molt before in my 1.5-2 months that I've had her which seems strange. I am unsure of her age when I purchased her, but she seems mid-sized, but not fully adult-sized yet. I can...

Red Claw Crab: Molting or dying?

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately, there is no molt yet. She has been moving her limbs/claw periodically throughout the day, but she definitely has not shed her exoskeleton yet. She was in the sand, but in the water when I found her. I use Instant Ocean sea salt for maintaining my brackish...

    Introduction

Hello, sorry I accidentally forgot to do this part first. I'm relatively new to the aquarium hobby and only started after I felt comfortable and doing several months of research. My aquarium is a 20G long and I have a female red claw crab, a male Dalmatian molly, a female American flagfish, 4...

Red Claw Crab: Molting or dying?

Hello, I've had a female red claw crab for about 1.5-2 months now. She seemed to be pretty healthy and active up until this morning when I found her upside down and barely moving. I freaked out a little and tried to help her thinking maybe she fell which in retrospect was foolish since crabs...
