    Possible Ick problem!!

copepods is a possibility because I do have a few plants in my tank whose leaves have started to decay and regrow. As for two tails they are so small I would need to put one under a microscope to tell.

    Possible Ick problem!!

I usually feed them once a day, occasionally skipping the weekends when I go home. They get regular flake food and occasionally frozen blood worms. sometimes I'll feed extra flake food to ensure that my catfish and RCS get some of the food. The tank has been set up for about 7 months my reads...

    Possible Ick problem!!

I looked up pictures of planaria and they don't look quite like that. They are small round white dots. And it wasn't from the current they definitely were crawling over the driftwood.

    Possible Ick problem!!

So I was checking out my 10g community tank today and noticed these little white dots all over my drift wood. upon closer inspection they move! It definitely looks like Ick but I checked all my fish and it doesn't look like any of them are infected with it, just my driftwood. I know the best way...

Is it worth keeping fish you never see?

I have a upside down catfish in my tank. I use to rarely see him because he's nocturnal but he started coming out more during the day time when I would feed all the other fish to catch some of the leftovers. The greatest part was that I discovered that sometimes during the evening when the light...

    Difficulty feeding new DPs

He might be trying to sleep. I haven't seen my dp do that but in my community tank my guppies will rest/sleep in the back of the tank on the ground at night. If he does it during the day I would be more worried.

    Difficulty feeding new DPs

Yeah I read that thread once before. I guess your right it's diffuclt to tell whether the tetra parasite guard will be effective or not. also I was unable to determine just how much medication is in the tablets. I think my best bet is to buy a liquid form medication. My puffer seems fine for now...
