    Brown algae in tank

    I have 135 gal freshwater tank, had green algae bloom, now brown algae bloom. I bought lots of plants, getting brown, bought 5 octos. Is there anything else I can do? :(

    I changed my water and added new plants, puffer went crazy swimming up & down sides, slowed down but still sick, use melafix, change water again, nitrates were high...help:fish1:
