Ok I’ve bought a hatchery so he’s living in there now and actually looks like he’s doing ok - apart from the bruises and ragged fins. He’s swimming properly and eating well so will his wounds heal do you think? How long should I keep him in isolation for?

Ok he’s actually getting better. He’s off the floor and properly swimming around - however now all the tetras are bullying him and nipping at his fins. What can I do to separate them? Should I go buy a little hospital tank tomorrow?

Hi all, I’ve just noticed these white specs all over the sides of my tank. It’s a tropical 40 litre with tetras, Cory catfish 1 horned nerite snail and an endler guppy in it. 2 guppies just died these last 2 weeks but I can’t find the bodies (presumed eaten). I’ve attached a photo - any advice...

Not to worry - he started swimming upside down so I put him in the freezer to euthanise him. I couldn't handle the pressure of the 'blunt trauma to the head' method. Just hoping he hasn't passed his disease to the others...
