with play sand you get a lot of phosphate withch can harbor parasites and harm the fish.though live plants love the phosphate in the tank as they use it as fertalizer

just add salt and watch your levels if they are fine overnight id go ahead and add the water

you should just carefully pull it off and burn it. it probobly is toxic. how long has it been there

tetras and neons go with eachother any tetra or neon will mix nicely

i need suggestions for anemone's and fish and places to buy uncured live rock with lost of goddies in it

hopefully it is not a mantis shrimp they are bad news they can break you aquriam

they are light schoolers but they dont get too big you could fit like four adults in your tank
