    Breeding Fish

Whoops just to clarify, it's hornwort that isn't pretty . Your tank looks amazing. For quite a few south american fish feeding high quality live or frozen foods 3-2 times a day (in small amounts) can condition them for breeding. Also, doing a large water change using fairly cold water can...

    Nano Stocking Suggestions

Hey all, I just returned from a couple years off the forum, glad to be back. I had a 55 reef but decided to sell it, but now I craved my SPS. Thus I decided to get a 12 gallon tank. Its been up for 7 months I have not gotten coral for the tank yet, but right now I just have my CUC (3...

    Breeding Fish

While its not pretty, hornwort could help your fish feel more secure. When I breed my fish, I prefer to dedicate a tank to my pair, but for guppies its not necessary. Ive bred cory cats, congo tetras, and much more but giving them their own tank works best. Work on getting it right with guppies...

    Flipping cartwheel fish for weeks

Its up to the person to cull a fish, but look at it as if you were euthanizing, not simply culling. If it doesnt cause the fish pain, dont do jack. If it does, just end his suffering humanely. What Im against is people breeding those deformed fish for fun, it ruins the line of fish.

Advice on setting up a Salt Water System

Im a young reefer too, so its nice to see im not alone. Its a great hobby.:)A clownfish pair would do nicely, as for Dory a yellowtail damsel could fare as a far better substitute than a super active hippo tang. Although personally I am not a huge fan of damsels as each fish has its own...

    60 gallon Ideas?

    60 gallon Ideas?

I'm not much of an expert on Cichlids but tetra's with Cichlids aren't exactly the best option. I am pretty sure, if I am not mistaken, Im pretty sure the breeds used for blood parrots are from waters with Ph and tetra's require soft water so yeah sorry to bummer you Sent from my iPad using...
