If you were to get guppies, I would recommend more females than males. For 3 guppies you should get 2 females and one male.
The gourami should probably be fine.
Swordtails can grow larger than most people know (Their bodies alone excluding fins can get to 4 inches) so they would outgrow a 10...
I disagree with otocinclus being with the rest of that stock list. They prefer a little bit colder water, and most of those other species such as dwarf cichlids prefer warmer water. The water will also need to be kept cold enough for the cories, however.
Most 'semi aggressive' fish do not do well with 'community' fish. Things like small tetras and guppies would be eaten. Koi also wouldn't work with anything on that list as they grow very large and are cold water fish.
Rainbow sharks, bala sharks, angelfish, and pictus catfish could probably work.
You would still have lots of room in that tank! Why not add a school of rainbowfish such as boesemanis or turquoise? A 55 is a good size tank for them and they are really bright and colourful.
