This is the Ambulia that I recently got. Looks like the same as yours to me. I live in Gibraltar, Europe and got this from Spain, which is next door to me really. There Cambomba has also been outlawed.
Ah, good. Tube did not arrive sealed or anything, that's why I was unsure. Thanks. I would say mine is less than half full though, but might be due to compaction of the stuff. Will check again when I get home.
Hi all. I recently bought some Kanaplex to have up my sleeve just in case I needed it (let's hope not). Anyway when I received the product (5g) the tube was not full of powder. In fact it was less than half full. Since I have never bought Kanaplex before I was just wondering whether this was normal.
I have been trying to cycle the tank for some time now, and realised it was probably down to keeping the ammonia levels low. I started looking around for some seeding material to speed things up.
Thanks. Yes, I am using the API master test kit. I have ammonia readings and doing PWC every other day. Hopefully I'll get nitrites soon now that I have seeded the tank-woohoo! (although I know nitrites are bad too but at least I know the cycle is progressing)

Not sure about IN the water, but they love moist places, so would make sense they can at least spend just a bit of time underwater. I am no expert on mayflys (or is it mayflies lol) but I thought they didn't have antennae whilst larvae.
