I recently had a sick and sad bta... Found out the main issue was the lighting, what lights to you have setups, anemones need more than standard setups

Anything bigger than what we have now will be too much work, and we've only just upgraded to this size :(

:( why do they always disappoint me. This will be the second fish I return if I have to take him back. He was 50 dollars and they don't give refunds for changing your mind or even after the first 24 hours. That's a lot of money to waste just cuz someone working in a specialist store doesn't know...

Aww yeah I think us near a coast line do take for granted how easy it is to get our own. The trick is to find an area mostly undisturbed and to get as far away from the shore line as possible, which is tricky without your own boat lol

So the clown doesn't eat it before it digests it you mean? He doesn't seem to like the super krill and leaves it alone, but I'll do those anyway, I'm assuming that's to help with digestion, cheers

^i knew this was coming haha. When I was at the fish store the guy said he would be alright ("id say the minimum would be 150L, he should be fine as long as it's not crowded"), which it's not his tank mates are only a clown a goby and a fairy wrasse. Then I came home and looked up requirements...

Yes I noticed he's loving all the long hair algae I had on the back of my tank, decimated it all haha. my phosphorus is about 0.25-0.5 should I keep it like that for him, is algae a predominate part of his diet? I normally fed everyone live brine shrimp and bloodworms, the Duncan's I target feed...

Sorry newbie here, what's hile? The area around his temple looks a little more haggard than the streamline mark, I'll see if I can get a photo of it he swims a lot though lol. His other side I can see a ridge in the same spot but it's not white like this side, thanks for the quick response!

I bought a psychedelic mandarin (psycho billy) and only has him for about a month before he died (told wrong information so he ended up being a casualty of newbie+bad LFS care of duty). Even so I loved him and was very sad when we lost him so I can't imagine how upset you would be. May he now...

I got this tang on Saturday and I'm sure I would have noticed this mark on him, at the store soi think it's happened since being in the tank (I noticed it Sunday morning). It runs from his temple to his tail, but doesn't seem to bother him. The only thing I can think of that could have done it...

Thought id update and let you know x that I've had the new light since Friday (it's Tuesday here) and mr bta is looking a lot happier!! Thanks for your help :) No blue light, you can't see it too well in the pics but he's definitely got his green tinge back With blue light on
