i think the dead ocellaris had "Velvet" symptoms such as white powdery spots all over the head and body and staying in front of the powerhead all day. but i did not notice rapid breathing. so it might be ich. i believe cupermine cures both Velvet and Ich. so i guess i'll be ok.
thanks for the...
hi. i'm planning on treating my 3 fishes with cupermine in a hospital tank since they've got marine velvet or ich which i'm not sure of.
i have a 67 gallon FOWLR tank with a 3 inch wild caught clarkii clownfish which i suspect is the carrier of that disease.
then i also have a 50 gallon reef...
ok thanks. that's really helpful. appreciate it. i'm gonna keep my QT running when i get home for future corals. but this batch of corals are going directly into my DT. :D
so it's gonna take a lot more than a few minutes i guess. i've read somewhere that some people use qt tank only when needed. they just take it out of the storage, put water from the DT, put the extra(new) filter media they had in the sump into the qt tank filter, and that's it. takes only a few...

nice! i really want a pair of clownfish. i've got a wild caught clarkii clownfish. it's pretty big. the fisherman that i bought my clarkii from might have some more clarkii after this monsoon season. do u think i could add one more to my 50 gal tank? probably a smaller one? we have no marine...
thanks! i'll take home these four then. i want the xenia also but since it doesn't ship well i'll skip it this time. i've read some people shipping zoanthids wrapped in wet newspapers but there'd be no harm putting them in bags full of water, right? that's what i saw on the youtube videos...
hello. this is my first post here. :) first of all, where i live (burma aka myanmar), there is no marine fish/corals shop. i have a 50 gallon DT with a sump and refugium with some chaeto and DSB running for 5 months. i also have a wild caught clarkii clown that i bought from a fisherman. anyway...
