It's safe to add fish after the cycle is over, I made the same mistake. Once your ammonias, nitrates and nitrites spoke in the cycle it'll "burn" the fish resulting in new tank syndrome. I was told to keep adding prime every 48 hours to keep my fish from hurting too bad. Sent from my XT907...

I have about two or three inches of gravel in there, I would say they're an inch long and wide maybe less? I was reading up on it though and I seriously think I really didn't bury them deep enough. I'm going to do a small water change to see if it clears up. Sent from my XT907 using Aquarium...
