Thanks, that's what I thought been a while sense I cycled a tank

I think I'll save a few pieces of the rock I have now. And start with new rock on this one and add what I keep to get some coralline going. To cycle the new tank is a skimmer needed? I don't remember? Or can I getaway with just some power heads and a heater?

Made a small HOB refugium out of a aquaclear 70 filter. Filter/refugium seems to be doing well except that I have very tiny bubble coming back into the tank for this, is my flow to high? Help

Also my cyano primarily stayed on one side of my tank and covered the sand like a carpet, so if you don't mine loosing some sand I just took my net and scalped the top of the sand and the just tossed it

Lots and lots of big water changes! And cut way back on feedings! Water changes I did, well tried to do about 50%, and my feedings are now like every three days and and I alternate flake and the frozen food

That's great, now to get the $$$$$ to get things started

So I got a piece of live rock that came with a sea squirt on it, lately it hasn't been open and now is turning white! And clue what's going on? If it's on it way out can I cut it from the rock?
