    reef wrasse suggestions

My personal favorite is the Leopard Wrasse. But, it is mandatory to have a DSB to keep one. They burrow at night in the sand bed. Beautiful fish. Can't imagine my tank without one.

Anybody in central Illinois... Peoria or Springfield area

If you all come over to Sailfin, I'm 15 miles north of Champaign in Rantoul. I have a Capnella that keeps "spitting" babies, and some Anthellia that is going gonzo in my tank. If you get over this way, give me a holler and I'll set you up with some. I also have a bunch of 'shrooms that I could...

Glad it was a positive experience for you! I need to make a trip down there soon. After seeing the prices in the stores in Chicago yesterday.... 8O YIKES!!! Talk about "sticker shock"!!!! I'll stay down state!! :)

    News: Coral Crisis

Along these same lines - If you get a chance, go see "Coral Reef Adventure" at an Omnimax theatre near you. I just saw it today at The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. All I can say is......WOW!!!! What an incredible show! And it deals with this exact topic. GO SEE!!!!! :D

    What LFS do you use?

kribbz - If your coming in on 74, go into town and take the Neil St. exit. It's the 2nd one coming from the west. Go right and follow it through downtown. You'll go through a one-way area for a couple of blocks. That's downtown. Once you go back to 4 lanes, stay in the left lane. Once you go...

What OFS (online fish stores) do you use?

I've been using www.liveaquaria.com lately. Good prices and quick shipping. Some of the other really good OFS are within easy driving distance from me (Inland, Premium, Harbor, anything in Chicago), so I really don't bother ordering online from them.

    What LFS do you use?

I don't know how far you guys are willing to go, but up here in Champaign-Urbana, we have 1 decent store. Sailfin is the place around here. The prices somewhat reflect their corner on the market, but the animal health and corals are all outstanding. I've traded there a few times for store...

My display room...3 tanks displayed within wall

I've only seen it from the road. Looks like it's in decent shape. Rantoul is 90 miles north of Effingham on I-57. It'd be quite a haul, but maybe worth it if you can't find another TV.

    Coral Frags?

I've got Anthelia I'd like to get rid of. If anyone wants some, and knows how to frag it, come on over! Free for the taking. Might let you have some of my prized Aiptasia, too!! I also have LOADS of spotted 'shrooms. Some zoanthids, too. OH! And plenty of Valonia, too! 8O

My display room...3 tanks displayed within wall

If you wanted to take a drive north a bit, some neighbors of mine moved out and left a large console TV in the side yard. I imagine it's free for the taking....

    Not cookied?

Unfortunately, those ideas didn't work. Dumped 17mB worth of cache and 555 cookies. I guess I'll learn to live with it....

    Not cookied?

Why is this the only site that I go to that I can't keep registered? Every time I come back I have to add my username and password, even though I check the box about saving my information. Is it this quirky cow box i'm on, or a site problem, or a loose nut behind the keyboard? Lazt typers want...

    Expensive fish/coral.

I just paid $55 for a purple tang last weekend. He's the most expensive thing in my tank. The most I've paid for a coral is $10 for a frogspawn and small colony of green star polyps. I belong to a club that has a fantastic membership. Next coral deal: I'm trading spotted 'shrooms for a 3"...

    Icecap woes

I have a 660 that did the same thing. Sent it in to Icecap for a tune-up. Works perfect now.
