Things gone drastically wrong this week!

Turns out the blue devil damsel and yellow bellied damsel were bullies and the clown were under stress, well thats the Lfs reasoning as water quality was good, slightly high nitrates only, and no signs of illness on clown in pic. Lesson learned don't change setup of tank with aggressive fish pr...

Things gone drastically wrong this week!

Sorry it's a 96ltr tank and all seemed to be going well and I was doing water changes as recommended. Only big change in last while was I got a new light bulb. It made a significant difference to the look of the tank but I thought that would only be good for the inhabitants.

Problems with Nitrate testing with API marine test kit

I tested the LFS premixed water and the Nitrate is 0ppm so i have to assume the test kit is ok. So I guess the next thing is to do is to increase frequency of water changes to see if that will bring down the nitrate level. Any other suggestions?

Hey all, I have my tank up and running for about 4 months now and all seems fine, during the first few months I was bringing a water sample to the LFS each week to get some premixed salt water for the water changes and all the readings were in check.
