I am speaking of the Diamond Goby.Not all gobies the same.May be a few exceptions out there but overall mortality rate is extremely high for the Diamond Goby.

If you have the inverter run a heater in your livestock bucket.You can get a little 25 watt one at walmart that will maintain 78 degrees.
Also when you get the tank setup and filled at the new location,make sure you don't add your livestock back until your temp is right.

You should be ok as far as cycling if you throughly rinse your sand with saltwater until the water is basically clear.Putting your livestock in a 5 gallon bucket with a heater and aeration of some type will stress less than taking to Lfs.
