Thank you....turns out it jumped in the back of the tank and was hiding underneath the bio balls...but thank you for the advice it's good info to know :)

I have a 12 gallon tank with about 12 pounds of live rock...my firefish gobie just died :( and is under all of the live rock in my tank. I think that it's important that I get it out before it starts rotting, but my boyfriend thinks that we should just leave it rather than move all the live...

I have a nano cube and it has been set up now for a few months now. A couple of weeks ago I noticed all of these tiny organisms on the side of the tank, and now that they are getting bigger...I realize that they must be baby snails. This is my first saltwater fish tank, so I don't really know...
